This Privacy Policy explains how the Invoice Inbox app ("App"), provided by Madaket Labs Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information. The App is designed to keep your data minimal and under your control.
No account required
You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or password. The App signs in anonymously and assigns your device a random identifier so your invoices can sync to secure cloud storage tied only to that identifier.
Information we process
- Invoice files — the images and PDFs you share into the App.
- Extracted invoice details — such as amounts, dates, invoice numbers, the issuer's name, and any contact email or phone shown on the invoice.
- Details you add or edit — any fields you enter manually, including invoices you create and your business profile (name, ABN, address, bank details).
- Anonymous identifier — a random ID for your device's data (not linked to your real-world identity by us).
- Push token — if you enable notifications, a device token used to send you "invoice ready" and overdue reminders.
- Basic diagnostics — limited technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To store and display your invoices and their status across your sessions.
- To automatically read invoice details using optical character recognition.
- To send notifications you have enabled.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the App:
- Google Firebase — anonymous authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle data.
- Anthropic — your invoice file is sent to Anthropic's API to extract its details. It is processed to return the extracted text and is not used to train their models under their commercial terms.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure operated by our providers, which may process or store data in the United States and Australia. We apply security rules so that data is only accessible to your device's anonymous identifier.
Retention & deletion
You can delete all of your data at any time from the App's Settings ("Delete All Data"). This permanently removes your invoices, files, stored details, and anonymous identifier from our systems. Uninstalling the App stops further collection from your device.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Because the App provides direct in-app deletion and does not collect identifying account details, you can exercise the core of these rights yourself. For any other requests, contact us below.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
